I am constantly trying to figure out a way to improve how my art work is displayed on the internet. Previously I had the Zen Gallery installed at my web site server and even though it was practical and displayed the work adequately, it was not very exciting or “fresh” looking. So I decided to can the Zen Gallery and run WordPress using an art gallery theme. I am only allowed one database and the WordPress theme uses one, however in addition I was able to install a gallery plugin which doesn’t use an additional database. That means a lot!

The current WordPress site has a much newer look and feel to it and the gallery plugin works almost exactly like the Zen Gallery which used a database all by itself. It is taking a while to learn the details of WordPress but it really has a lot of functionality and potential to it.
